Rebecca,

If you can get this e-buddies network going, it could expand to engage kids in tutor/mentor programs from all over the world.  People talk about getting kids "into the conversation". The internet really can enable that to happen.  I met with a group called CRY (www.cry.org) over the weekend.  As a result our kids in Cabrini-Green (Chicago) may end up being e-buddies with kids from India.
