Subject: Introduction
<p>Hi everyone,
I've been enjoying all the introductions so I thought I'd add mine.
I work with both children and adults in affordable housing around the San
Francisco Bay Area as Manager for Computer-Assisted Education for Eden
Housing Resident Services (http://www.edenhousing.org/).
At several of our sites we do an after school Homework Club during the
school year. This summer, at the Silicon Valley site where I spend most of
my time, we have a science project built around the Bird & Butterfly Garden
that the children & I created this Spring for their school Science Fair
(What's the "computer guy" doing chasing butterflies?) We'll be working with
building web pages and digital photography as part of the project.
The project with children in the hospital sounds exciting. San Jose
Children's Musical Theater has been doing an innovative project that has
some similarities: http://www.sjcmt.com/TADA%21/index.html
