This camp is targeted at African-American
high school students. If anyone is working
with teens with entrepreneurship experience
and/or interest, worth investigating.

Medgar Evers College Partners with Anderson's Biz Kids To Create
Revolutionary
Summer Academy focused on Money Management, Entrepreneurship and Technology
On July 17, 2000, thirty extraordinary high school students will be invited
to
attend the Anderson's Biz Kids Summer Academy at Medgar Evers College, which
is geared towards creating a greater understanding of the value and
importance
of Money Management, Entrepreneurship and the New Wave of Technology in the
workplace. Each selected student will receive a full scholarship for the
five-week program.
An exciting and innovative curriculum has been designed to teach students
about the Stock Market, Saving and Investing, Entrepreneurial Opportunities
and Technology Advances that are transforming every profession and industry.
Located on the historical campus of Medgar Evers College, The Anderson's Biz
Kids Summer Academy offers young adults the opportunity to sample the
excitement of college life. Classes also extend way beyond classroom walls
with trips scheduled to the New York Stock Exchange where students will meet
with Wall Street professionals.
The Medgar Evers College Anderson's Biz Kids Academy was designed for young
adults who want to take control of their financial future. Educational
curriculums rarely include the fundamental principals required for
entrepreneurship, investing or the new wave of technology that is sweeping
the
world. Exposure is everything!
Classes are held three times a week for two hours each day. Enrollment is
limited to thirty students on a first come, first serve basis. Selected
students are required to make a commitment to attend each session throughout
