Hello,

I am one on the new subscribers to this list. I am a program specialist at
the Corporation for National Service. I work mostly on America Reads and
America Counts, two initiatives to help kids increase their reading and math
skills.

I think this list will provide me with a lot of useful information. One of
the things I am exploring right now is developing web-based education
trainings for our programs. This means that I am seeking information on
distance learning and everything it entails. If anyone has any resources on
distance learning I would love it if you would contact me off-list at
<jgale at cns.gov>.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this list.
