Hello Everyone,

My name is Cassandra Oshinnaiye and I am Program Coordinator for DC Reads
at American University, which is part of the America Reads Challenge. I am
writing to introduce myself, but also, because I am in the process of
putting together my training session for the tutors in the Fall and am in
great need of some ideas for fun team building excercises and ice
breakers...any suggestions on activities and or resources I can turn to.

Thank you

Cassandra Oshinnaiye
Coordinator, DC READS

Hello,

I am one on the new subscribers to this list. I am a program specialist at
the Corporation for National Service. I work mostly on America Reads and
America Counts, two initiatives to help kids increase their reading and
math
skills.

I think this list will provide me with a lot of useful information. One of
the things I am exploring right now is developing web-based education
trainings for our programs. This means that I am seeking information on
distance learning and everything it entails. If anyone has any resources
on
distance learning I would love it if you would contact me off-list at
<jgale at cns.gov>.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this list.
