New to list

[Jane Finkenbine]

Like so many of you, I wear many hats.  Overall, I am
the Project Director for a program called YouthALIVE!
& for all other outreach/educational programs for the
Imaginarium of Racine (a future hands-on children's
museum).  We manage the 21st Century Community
Learning Center at a local elementary school.  It is
in that capacity that I work with underserved children
& their access to technology.  I am on the board for a
program called On TRACK, a "youth teaching youth
internet skills" program .  The teens have developed a
4-week, 8 hour course that teaches other teens about
the internet, chat rooms, web page design, etc.  My
goal is to find grant funding for a computer lab for
our museum.  This will give On TRACK a permanent home.
Since my teens know 10x more about technology than I,
this list will clue me in on who is out there doing
what.  I look forward to the discussions & expertise
from all of you.
