search for Only the Best.  They have a 1999-2000 version.

<p>ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) has an annual
guide "Only the Best".  It is their guide to the highest rated educational
software and multimedia.  Their website is http://www.ascd.org.  I searched
through their site and couldn't find much about "Only the Best"- so I don't
know if they are still publishing it every year, but you might e-mail them
and find out if they are and maybe if they have extra copies of old
editions.
