Introduction

Hello all!  I am new to this listserv, and thought I ought to introduce
myself.  My name is Robin Aldrich, and I work for Youth Resources of
Southwestern Indiana.  In my (new, I have only been here for one month)
position as program coordinator, I work with the following groups (included
with a summary of each):

The Teen Advisory Council is made up of 60 youth members who identify youth
problems, discuss solutions, screen grant proposals, and initiate service
projects.  It is comprised of 6 committees to date.

The Youth Voice is a new program designed to help teens develop the skills
necessary to interact with lawmakers via the Internet.  This program allows
them a voice to advocate for issues concerning them.  They also publish a
bi-monthly newsletter, and carry out fundraisers and community service
projects.

Evansville Youth Coalition unites over 240 leaders from business, medical,
legal, government and the media areas, as well as church leaders, school
teachers, administrators, youth and parents to educate the community about
youthe issues and work to strengthen service links and provision throughout
Evansville.

    I am hoping this listserv will connect me with other youth workers
throughout the country.  I am very interested in learning all I can about
other youth programs while contributing what I can to the pool.
