CIAO Summer Project

Well, our summer project is finished and temporarily up on our web site. We
have a little fixing to do before they can be handed over to their
respective agencies.

<p>CIAO, standing for Community Information Agents Online, spent about 6 weeks
learning video publishing for the net.  You can see their three sites at
http://www.flint.lib.mi.us/ciao/.  These sites were built for the Urban
Gardens program, the Neighborhood Roundtable and 2 of our branches.  There
were 6 kids that worked with us this summer.  They were part of a larger
group that was with us throughout the last school year.  This is a project
in conjunction with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, School of
Information, funded by a Kellogg Foundation Grant.
