While we are on the subject of evaluation and planning.....

I wanted to bring everyone's attention to a resource - rich site and
organization -- InnoNet
(http://www.innonet.org/)

"Innovation Network, Inc. (InnoNet) is a 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to
enabling public and nonprofit organizations to better plan, execute, and
evaluate their structure, operations, and services."

InnoNet's site contains a number of online, interactive tools for nonprofit
organizations, inlcuding strategic planning map, program budget creation,
evaluation plans, program fundraising plans. The tools walk you through the
creation of various plans step by step. In the end, you will have a fully
personalized plan for your organization.

The site also provides pointers to other links on topics like evaluation and
data collection. The online tools are free. InnoNet also provides
consultation and leads workshops.
