Educational games online?

Nic,
The Computer Clubhouse, a network of community
technology centers for youth ages 10-14, has posted
a list of the software they use. Some educational
games are included, such as the Sim City series.

The MIT Media Lab Epistemology and Learning Group
has a page with information on the new technologies
they are using. Some of this is being deployed through
the Computer Clubhouse network.

For online games, a teen oriented site such as
YouthTech might have pointers.

Also try Kid Sites

Unfortunately, a lot of the free online materials are targeted
for entertainment, not learning. Groups like the
Computer Clubhouse engage teens in activities
such as programming robots, doing scientific simulations,
and creating original digital graphics, animation, music,
and videos.

Subject: Educational games online?
<p>Does anyone know any good resources for educational games online that are
aimed at older students (high school)?
Thanks!
