re-launching of website

Media Workshop is pleased to announce the re-launching of our website at
http://www.mediaworkshop.org.  As you know, we are a new media and
technology professional development organization for educators, established
by the Bertelsmann Foundation nearly six years ago.    Our approach to new
media and technology integration is grounded in student centered,
collaborative and  inquiry-based strategies for teaching and learning.

Our new site includes K-12 class websites, student showcases, multimedia
curriculum, teacher portfolios and web-based curriculum, all found in the
Our Work section.   Most of these projects and resources were developed and
implemented in collaboration with the many educators we've worked with over
the years.   The site also includes some special projects, including the
Summer Tech Camp program we recently hosted for middle school kids. It also
includes K-12 teacher resources as well as general information about our
services.

Media Workshop also publishes a weekly Educational Technology News Digest.
As we continue to update our site, within the next few weeks you will be
able to subscribe to the digest directly from our home page, as well as
conduct advanced searches if you're interested in finding specific projects
or information.   Until these changes have been made you can subscribe to
the free digest, simply by sending an email to:
edutech-news at liststar.mediaworkshop.org with the word SUBSCRIBE in the
subject line.
