Hi, I am the Program Director for the Student Training and Opportunity
Program at the Good Samaritan Foundation. We are a non-profit in DC. We are
currently recruiting new volunteers, and have been wondering if other youth
service organizations were doing criminal background checks, specifically for
incidents of child abuse.
If so, have you done the screening yourself or have you had an outside agency
do them? Have you run into any snags in the process? Any insight you have
would be appreciated.
