Background Checks for Adult Volunteers working with Youth

Tracy & others considering background checks,
all adult volunteers sign a form saying they give
their permission for a criminal background check.  I
take them to the local police department & they do the
check & inform me of any red flags (not only do we
consider child abuse, but also drug dealing, gang
activity, etc.)
I believe that it is vital that parents know they can
trust staff & volunteers with their children.
