    hi everyone -

some exciting news this way. the state of Virginia accepted a
grant proposal i helped write to place donated computers in the homes
of needy children at Hoffman-Boston Elementary School, in Arlington,
Virginia. so our school will be receiving $35,000 to expand this
project i started earlier this year.

coincidentally, IT Recruiter Magazine did a real nice piece on
the Computers-in-the-Home project.

i'm happy to send a copy of the grant proposal to any
Youthlearn list members in case it could help with any of the good
work you're doing. kindly send requests to me at my email address,
rather than to the list address.

               - phil
