Pay scale question

Hi list members,

I need some ideas from people on what sort of pay scale might be used (for a
medium-sized organization) to determine the hourly salary for a part-time
(20 hours a week) Webmaster/Tech Assistant who is an undergraduate college
student. This is a grant-funded position, to be paid out of a fairly limited
budget. The responsibilities of the position include some graphic design,
programming, and maintenance of our web site, and troubleshooting and
technical support for our soon-to-open Media Lab. Some of our administrative
staff are not completely understanding of the skill level required to carry
out these tasks, and I would like to make sure that we offer adequate
compensation, even if (or especially if) a student is hired to fill the
position.
