Thanks to all who responded to my last inquiry re: resources for a
gizmoes/gadgest theme. They were greatly appreciated and I am pursuing some
of them further. Thank you.
Now, I would like to draw upon your knowledge and ask if anyone knows of any
good programs/packages that could be used in developing
newsletters/newspapers. I know that Gateway has a home publishing package
that comes with its computers. Unfortunately, we are not using Gateways at
this center. In terms of the applications we have on Desktop, I only see
Word that would be the closest to something we could use. We do not have
Microsoft Publisher. I am fond of the Gateway Package because it provides
the used with a template. All that is essentially needed is for the user to
fill in the words; the format does not need to be developed. As the user
becomes more comfortable with the mechanics of the layout, they are given the
option of starting from scratch and developing their own blank newsletter.
Any ideas?
