Hi everyone --
Here is a quick run-down of upcoming grant deadlines. In addition to these,
HUD's Neighborhood Networks site has an updated list of funding
opportunities at http://www.hud.gov/nnw/nnwfndop.html.
If you know of any other funding sources that out-of-school youth programs

Grants announced around Aug 31
Estimated award size is $180,000. Awards usually range from
$75,000-$300,000. 92 grants awarded last year.
"The purpose of the Community Technology Centers program is to promote the
development of model programs that demonstrate the educational effectiveness
of technology in urban and rural areas and economically distressed
communities."

Average grant size is $375,000. Maximum award is $600,000. 35 grants awarded
last year.

"TOP-supported projects should, to the greatest degree possible, reach out
to all members of a community and catalyze partnerships to help reduce the
digital divide."

"The purpose of this program is to provide grants to inner-city and rural
schools that are working in partnership with organizations in their
community to provide expanded learning and enrichment opportunities outside
of the regular school hours for chidren and adults."
