I'm brand new to the list and just wanted to introduce myself. My
name is Julie Knobloch and I work as an Extension Educator for
the University of MN Extension Service. I'm responsible for our
county 4-H program. Something that we have going here is a
program called COOL (Cooperative Opportunities for Online
Learning). High school students serve the community by teaching
what they know best...technology! And better yet, they are paid
(always a carrot). Recently, our small county received a grant to
set up community technology centers in several of our small
towns. These high school students ("technomentors") will help
staff the centers.

I look forward to learning from all of you.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are
pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are
different colors ...but they all have to learn to live in the
same box.
