Our Student Training Opportunity Program provides yearlong job training for
high school students. We do this through workshops, job shadow opportunities,
and by bringing in guest speakers from the community. If students work during
the school year, they usually find those jobs on their own.

We assist the students in finding paid summer jobs through our board of
directors and local and federal agencies here in Washington, DC.

In the fall of 2001, we will begin a 10-week '"career exploration" series for
our sophomore students.
