The WEEA Equity Resource Center is sponsoring an EdEquity online discus=
sion
on and by girls and young women across the country. We'll discuss topi=
cs
that impact young women's educational experiences and the effects these=
have on their lives, including the following:

nd
realities
=B7 How girls and young women continue to address educational, cultu=
ral,
and legal barriers that keep them from realizing their full potential=
=B7 How gender influences career options and training
=B7 What resources girls and young women need to continue and build =
on
their leadership and strengths

EdEquity is an international electronic discussion forum on issues of
educational equity in a multicultural context in schools, colleges, and=
other education sites. EdEquity is designed to encourage discussion
