As Director of Training and Professional Development for B&GCA, I was
delighted to hear that a "Graduate Level" Course is being developed in =
the
area of youth development. B&GCA recently developed performance =
profiles
for B&GCA employees; an organized sets of statements that define the
competencies a B&GC employee in one of four categories, (executive,
management, youth development, or part time), should be able to =
successfully
demonstrate on the job. These Profiles serve as the foundation of our
comprehensive competency-based Professional Development System. The
Profiles give the organization a framework for defining positions =
relevant
to competence and strategic outcomes. They also provide a baseline to:
Recruitment & Selection Career Development=09
Training & Development Jobs Classification & Compensation=09
Performance Management Recognition=09
Although I am not able to advance a test for you, numerous sources were =
used
to compile this data. Please keep us posted as you continue this
initiative. Sarah Berry-Rabun, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Senior
Director, T&PD=20
