I am in the process of writing a grant to local foundations to fund a Youth
Development Institute. The training will target adults who work with
youth. This will be a one day training. Training will include Service
Learning,
Asset Development, Computer Technology, Youth and Civic Involvement and
Program Development.

I wanted to know if anyone has written a grant such as this to help me
format my idea and know what things to include in the budget. So far these
are the things I have considered for the budget:

Hotel: meeting rooms, set up, etc.
Promotion: mailing, postage, brochure, flyer, poster
Audio Visual: overhead, lap top, projector, etc.
Speaker Honorariums
Transportation - speakers

What am I missing and do you have a copy of a grant you have written for
this type or similar?

I would also be interested in other hot topics in Youth Development.
