Hi Sarah --
I'm so glad you told me!
You know, I'm sure others on the list also would be interested in all the
great things your sites are doing. May I encourage you to post your message
to the YouthLearn list by writing to youthlearn at mail.edc.org?
Your curriculum is so nicely varied. Especially given the pressure many
sites may be feeling now that there seems to be more of an emphasis on
academic learning, even in afterschool settings.
Pam

Pam-
Thanks for sending out this uplifting article. I had read it because IS
123, mentioned in the article, is actually one our Children's Aid Society
sites. We fund and manage the TASC after-school program at the school,
which includes homework help and a wide variety of clubs for the kids
including cheerleading, martial arts, Sim City computer simulation and a
KidzLit bookclub.
Thanks,
Sarah Jonas
