As a member of the National Mentoring Partnership, MentorGirls.org is proud
to take part in celebrating the premiere National Mentoring Month (USA) by
sharing the following essays, visionary program initiatives, and special
projects currently being accomplished by role models all over the world, in
our own local communities, and on the web... <for language translations,
and audio access, please email editor at mentorgirls.org to inquire further>

Each of these original essays and article submissions have been graciously
offered especially for our January 2002 issue of the MentorGirl Voice. And
by honouring the 'theme' of this years' event, these dynamic perspectives
from women 'round the globe and online provide us with powerful examples of
how important role models and mentors are to each and every one of us. At
every step in our journey as individuals and as we develop on our own path,
we can only realize dreams and goals with the support and encouragement of
those around us... We wholeheartedly thank each and everyone for their
contributions!
