Summer Day Camp Themes and Ideas

Hello Everyone,

    My name is Tameka M. Singh.  I am the Summer Day Camp Director for the
Girl Scouts of America in Northwest Indiana.  I am currently working to put
a summer day camp program together which will include one overnight session
(at camp site).  I will be coordinating activities for girls ranging from
ages 5-14.

The program will consist of outdoor activities as well as indoor
activities.  Most of the activities will be held at our local girl scout
camp site.  I have a great deal of experience in developing and
implementing a summer program, but I don't have a great deal of experience
in outdoor camping nor camping activities.

If anyone has any ideas for weekly themes and activities, please share that
information with me.  It will be greatly appreciated.
