Dear Holly:

If you want to come as far as New York City we can put you in touch with
The After School Corporation, a New York City organization dedicated to
enhancing the quality and availability of school based after school
programs.   In addition to funding community based organizations for the
after-school programming TASC conducts research and evaluation on the
effects of these programs.  There are at least 143 schools in the city with
TASC funded programs.  TASC began with a five year funding commitment from
the Open Society Institute.
