Youth Contest Deadline Extended

[Afterschool Alliance]

The Afterschool Alliance's Why Afterschool Works letter-writing contest
deadline has been extended to May 31, 2002 (the original deadline was May
15).

Youth ages 6-17 can write letters addressed to President George W. Bush to
enter a random drawing for free tickets to the Major Baseball League
All*Star Game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 9, 2002.

The winner will be randomly selected from all qualifying entries.  All
submitted letters will also be forwarded on to President Bush by the
Afterschool Alliance.

Youth can submit their letters online at www.afterschoolalliance.org  or
print them out and mail them to: The Afterschool Alliance, PO Box 65166,
Washington, D.C. 20035-5166 or fax them to: (415) 331-0725. To receive a
copy of the entry form via email, please send a request to
afterschoolcontest at mg.com.
