position of CTC Coordinator at our agency. This position is available

Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House, Inc. - A community based not
for profit organization that strives to affect positive change in
the lives of the many underserved residents of western Queens. The mission
of Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement is to provide opportunities for
community residents that enable them to reach their greatest potential and
become economically and socially self-sufficient.
Jacob Riis accomplishes this through the provision of comprehensive
educational, cultural, recreational and social services for youth and
their families, adults and seniors, at various locations within the
community.
Job Title: CTC Coordinator
Role: Work closely with colleagues and staff to develop and maintain a
responsive technology program for the after-school and CTC programs.
1. Develop a comprehensive technology program for participants in programs
agency wide
2. Develop diversified age appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of
participants in agency wide programs
3. Create a work plan for the year in conjunction with the Education
Director and CTC staff
4. Create projected end of the year results with Education Director and CTC
staff
5. Define and monitor participant outcomes and milestones
6. Develop and implement strategies for quarterly outreach for adult
programs
The main tasks of the CTC Coordinator are outlined above, but there will be
other tasks assigned as necessary for the efficient operating of the
program.
Individual must have:
1. Ability to engage students of varying skill levels
2. Good supervisory, interpersonal, written, and oral skills
3. Analytical ability
4. Experience working with individuals of diverse ethnic and economic
backgrounds.
5. Have knowledge and principles of youth development, ability to work
collaboratively with outside agencies.
Individual is should have:
1. Masters degree in Education, Sociology, Educational Technology, or
similar field.
2. Experience working in the non-profit sector.
