A Down and Dirty Request

There are a number of studies on the impact of afterschool programs on
student achievement, as well as on reduced crime, etc. The Afterschool
Alliance provides a nice summary of key findings from various reports at:
http://www.afterschoolalliance.org/after_out.cfm

^From there, you can find a number of other resources as well. Hope this
helps!

Good Afternoon,

I am looking for down-and-dirty quickies!! Quotes and/or pointers to
research that give skeptics and non-believers a place to start to
understand why out-of-school time programs are beneficial and help student
achievement.

Anything that anyone has or can direct me to would be helpful.

Thank you,
