Hi,
Two suggestions:
> 1.Creating simple online animations...
> 2.Creating online comic Books
> 3.Designing dream house (3D building )
> 4.Creating Music video ( Music clip editor)
> 5.Creating simple web-based games/puzzles
<p>Have you explored Tribeworks.com? They have a program called, "iShell." It
is "GRATIS" for light weight applications. You can use the program all you
want and not have a charge. But, it doesn't allow for open source and lots
of complexity. http://www.tribeworks.com
The other program with a similar license (different but same in some
concepts) is MetaCard. http://www.MetaCard.com
MetaCard limits the number of lines in "scripts" to a tight amount.
However, the kids may NEVER need to use any scripts. They can flash the
cards.
Both programs run on Macs and PCs. MetaCard has many *nix flavors too.
I think either one would be your ticket. As the teacher, you'd have to get
your mind around them -- but then the classes would soar.
Ta.
