Building a Media Center

Hello!  My name is Dawn Slagle and I work in a technology based
after-school program in Harford County, MD.  We are moving into a much
larger facility this winter with more classroom space.  We would like to
create a media room for the students equipped with a newsdesk and video
capability.  We would like to provide a well-rounded curriculum that not
only touches on the major areas of study but also incorporates journalism,
reporting, photography, communication, etc.   I am searching for resources
that could help me plan for this venture.  Any assistance you can give
would be greatly appreciated.
