Cyber Café @ Malden Square Site Manager Opening
Position: Site Manager for informal, friendly community technology center
w/free Internet and e-mail (especially for those without technology
access); serves all, including business and professional persons. Position
requires
exceptional interpersonal skills that respect and welcome patrons of
diverse backgrounds, ages, abilities and health issues, economic levels,
etc., with particular understanding of the issues they may face;
supervisory/ management skills to oversee staff/volunteers and day-to-day
operations; administrative skills to collect data, formulate reports,
assist in program development, and attend meetings as required; ability to
provide basic instruction in accessing Internet, using e-mail, various
software applications, etc.; and sufficient technical skills to
troubleshoot minor hard- and software problems.

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 PM, plus 4 overlapping hours
during the week or on Friday
Salary: $12,000 per year + fringe benefits (pro-rated: health/dental
insurance; short-term disability and life insurance; 125 flexible spending
account; vacation, sick, personal, and holiday time). This position is
dependant upon a U.S. Department of Education grant.
