Another after school program in this area worth looking at is Earth Force
After School. Designed for ages 10-14, young people choose an
environmental topic they are interested in, research it, decide how to
address it, then plan and implement an action campaign to make it happen.
Throughout the process young people make decisions about their project
learning to identify and use relevant criteria for sound decisions. The
program comes with a video, leaders manual, 28 linked teambuilding and
program units, reproducible program handouts and training is available.
