Hello everyone. The AED Center for Youth Development and Policy research is
looking for afterschool program directors, managers, site coordinators,
youth program directors, and others with experience in program improvement,
program accreditation, or other activities related to identifying promising
or best practices in afterschool programs, to review promising practices
submission forms from around the country.

Please note that this is a volunteer position, and reviewers donate their
time for the training and review of practices. For more information about
the Promising Practices in Afterschool System, please visit
www.afterschool.org.

As a reviewer, you will receive:
**An all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. to attend a two-day
reviewer training.
**An opportunity to network with afterschool program professionals from
around the country.
**A wonderful professional development opportunity that you can add to your
own resume, grant applications, or reports to funders.
**An opportunity to help build the field of afterschool through the
addition of practices to www.afterschool.org's database of promising
practices.

You should be able to provide:
**Two days of your time to attend the reviewer training in Washington, D.C.
in late fall/early Winter 2002.
**At least a one-year commitment to review practices by completing and
submitting a web-based scoring form for each practice that you review.
**Approximately 10 hours of your time during the 3-month practice review
period.

The reviewer application can be downloaded from the following links:
