Try nefe.org ... It's the National Endowment for Financial Education. They
have some awesome programs for youth. Also - try entreworld.org
-especially the youth and entrepreneurship section. Let me know if you need
more sources - I have quite a few. I work for the Extension Service. Check
with your county extension office for info, too!

Certainly the NFTE (National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship)
BizTech curriculum would be a good place to start. You can sign yourself up
for a free trial, I believe, at www.nfte.com/biztech/ and check it out for
yourself.

In my memory it would cover the entrepreneurship and money management
(from, of course, a business owner perspective) very well. Not so much job
readiness.

Hope this helps,

Rachel Kimboko

Hello Ms. Billups,

I am the Internship Coordinator for the Maya Angelou Public Charter School
in Washington, DC. For the job readiness we use the Career Choices and
Career Strategies books from Academic Innovations located at
http://www.academicinnovations.com/ and for the money management part we
use the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) High School
Financial Planning Program located at http://www.nefe.com/

Good Luck.

Try the Kaufman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership in Kansas City. they
have recently changed their strategic plan but I do know they have some
excellent award winning curriculum on youth entrepreneurship. working with
CISCO I understand they have most stuff now on CD
