I am currently working in the youth justice field in England. I manage a
multi-agency Youth Offending Team which has a range of professionals
working to prevent and reduce youth crime amongst 10 - 17 year olds. We are
also now looking at preventative initiatives with 5 - 13 year olds. We have
social workers, youth workers, police officers, mental health nurses, drugs
workers, accommodation workers, parenting specialists and education
professionals all working together with individual young people at risk or
in high crime areas.

I will be in Washington for a week from 18th November to 22nd November and
would be interested in meeting with people who are working with juvenile
offenders or those at risk of offending in the city.

I would appreciate any advice on who best to contact about this.

Thanks in anticiaption,

Steve Moore
