Hi Lora,

One person you might contact is Nettrice Gaskins at Boston Neighborhood 
Network's (BNN) Multimedia Center in Roxbury (617-720-2113; don't remember 
web address).  Nettrice created and runs a digital art program there for 
youth, and made hardware and software decisions. You might also look at a 
summer camp program I helped developed called WiredWoods 
(www.wiredwoods.org).  Campers did digital media projects that involved 
creating group web sites about their camp experience.  They used Adobe 
Photoshop, Go Live, Flash Animation--I think more about the software and 
the equipment is on the web site. Hope this helps!
