Position Summary
The Program Assistant reports to the Director of External Relations and is
a full-time, exempt position. This person will support YTE's student
entrepreneurial events program and external relations department.
Responsibilities
* Plan and execute student entrepreneurial and outreach events with the
External Relations team.
* Manager YTE's eNewsletters to our students, schools and supporters.
* Research funding opportunities and assist development efforts including
writing and editing proposals.
* Prepare correspondence with donors, including acknowledgements and other
ongoing communication.
* Work with External Relations Team to develop program and sponsorship
materials.
* Support organizational efforts to expand press strategies and branding
efforts.
* Represent YTE at conferences and events.
* Additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Strong dedication to youth and belief in their potential.
* Commitment to the mission and ideals of YTE.
* Self-starter with a sense of humor and ability to work with a strong
team.
* Excellent writing, communication and editing abilities.
* Strong analytical skills and creative abilities.
* Strong initiative and well-developed organizational skills.
* Experience with event planning preferred.
* Access to a car/transportation.
* Bachelors Degree preferred.
