This is our fourth year of youth summer camps serving children from rising
first through tenth grade. We hvae 560 seats for youth this summer. We
offer a broad range of classes including, robotics, annimated filmmaking,
keyboarding, a camp based on PCT Teach It Magazine, exploring science, and
a Hispanic culture camp.

We opened registrations on April 1st and 1/3 of our seats are already
full.

We train 3-8th grade students to volunteer in our summer camps. They
attend 10 sessions, four focusing on team building and leadership and
remainder with a small component of team building and their technology
training. High school juniors and seniors (some now have worked their way
from volunteer) train in the same manner to teach the summer camps. We
have a certified teacher and a guidance counselor working with the summer
camps. (With 100 students a day you really need additional help).

Our youth volunteers have earned 93 NTAA awards and by the end of the
summer over 60 Presidential Service Awards.

We also have a full range of adult classes in the afternoons.

I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
