<p>9) Beaumont Foundation Invites Letters of Interest for School Technology
Grant Program
Deadline: December 10, 2003 (Letters of Intent)
The Beaumont Foundation of America ( http://www.bmtfoundation.org/ ) has announced its 2004 grant program for K-12 schools.
Through the program, the foundation awards state-of-the-art
Toshiba-branded technology equipment to educational institutions serving
low-income populations. In this round of funding, education grants are
available for schools in Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware,
Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland,
Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New
Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South
Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
To be eligible for the program, a school must have been in existence for
at least three years and have 50 percent or more of its student population
eligible for the National School Lunch Program.
