Hello All-
In response to the inquiry about leadership curriculum, I'd like to also
point you to resources that were previously suggested on our discussion
list. Some of the suggestions were: Project Adventure, Power
Communicators, Inc., and the Landmark Forum. For more info, see the
specific posts:

Andrea,
I am the design team leader of a leadership curriculum that was recently
developed and published by national 4-H. It could be used in high school,
but I would think more as a supplement to a course. It is not available on
the web, however you can go to the website and read more about it and find
out how you can order a sample.

Our development team was made up of youth development professionals from
across the country. The curriculum has been piloted and peer reviewed.
Feedback has been very positive. The title is "Step Up to Leadership".
Here is the website where you can learn more. http://www.n4hccs.org/

Have you contacted your state university and what they are using with 4-H
youth. All states have some wonderful leadership curriculm materials that
they are using with the teen enrolled in their 4-H programs. You can
access all state universitys via email or internet or by calling them.
Most all countys in the usa, also have 4-H information through county
extension offices.
