Roca, Inc.
Ms. Pinto is the director of Roca's VIA (Vision, Intent, and 
Action)Project, a "street school" for young women and men ages 16-26 who 
are street and gang involve; many are refugees and/or immigrants, most=20 
have literacy issues. Sayra is a founding member of Roca and assists in 
its ongoing development of multicultural programming. She also serves on 
the board of directors of =BFO=EDste?, a Latino political organization 
that promotes civic participation and electoral campaigns among Latino 
communities.

DIANNE LUBY
Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts=20
The Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts is a leader in promoting 
public acceptance of age-appropriate healthy sexuality, responsible sexual 
behavior, and the right to self-determination as integral parts of the 
overall well-being of individuals. Ms. Luby will discuss the current 
climate of sex education as it pertains to politics and funding, and offer 
concrete ways in which girls and women can take on leadership roles to 
counteract today's political environment.  =20

This event will also feature two young women who will share their ideas on 
leadership roles for girls-now and in the future.

***Part two of this series, a training on fostering girls' leadership,will 
be held on March 19, 2004***
