I run a nonprofit for 32 year free after-school program now we charge a
small fee. 10.00 for the school year and 30.00 for a six week program. We
get volunteers from the local college and funding from Block grant, United
Way and Foundation. Here is the website.. www.dropinlearning.org. Oh, Once
we put a fee on the program parents put a value on the program. Most
parents work because of welfare reform and just a small fee show
commitment to the center. Please remember to get Department of Public
Health License for School-age Child Care, that should be first on your
list.
Good Luck
