A Year of Hope & Challenge
In a year where many youth media organizations struggled for continued 
viability, the field was also faced with the announcements that the Taos 
Talking Pictures Festival and the Gen-Y Studio, both of which have been 
valuable partners and outlets for youth media, would not be taking place 
this year. However, in spite of all the challenges, the state of the youth 
media union continues to mature and grow.
