Thanks again to all those who have forwarded this email to students,
parents, and community members that would be interested in hearing about
Agents of Change! The EnVision Team truly appreciates your help! We have a
few important updates that we wanted to share:
The deadline for College Coach and High School Student Applications has
been EXTENDED until April 30, 2004. We wanted to give ample time for
students to complete applications and obtain references. The applications
are available at http://www.envisionleadership.com/agents. Click on the page that applies to your age group (University Student or
High School Students).
Also, please note that we are currently looking for college coaches and
high school students that live in the immediate Boston area. Agents of
Change is not a residential program.
We have two additional Leadership Forums scheduled. While not mandatory,
they give potential participants an opportunity to meet the EnVision Team
and find out more about Agents of Change.
For HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: April 1 from 6 pm until 7:30 pm at Northeastern
University in Room 39 of the Snell Library.
For COLLEGE COACHES: April 8 from 7 pm until 8:30 pm at Northeastern
University in Room 9 of the Snell Library.
For both Leadership Forums, please visit <http://www.campusmap.neu.edu/> www.campusmap.neu.edu for a Campus Map and make sure to RSVP to
agents at envisionleadership.com.
<p>Program Information:
EnVision Leadership is offering a summer leadership program for rising
sophomores and juniors that will begin June 28, 2004 and end July 30,
2004. Agents of Change is an innovative leadership development program
that provides a diverse team of high school students with leadership
skills, mentorship, an internship opportunity, and resources to lead
action projects in the community and empowers them to become active
citizen leaders.
We're looking for students that believe in the power of positive change
and the powerful affect that youth can have on not only their communities,
but our world. We are currently recruiting a diverse group of high school
students interested in building their leadership skills, working on a team
of other great students, having a summer internship, participating in fun
activities, and having a great summer! Also, we are recruiting a diverse,
motivated, and passionate group of undergraduates to serve as College
Coaches to lead and mentor the teams of Agents of Change. While this is a
brief overview of Agents of Change, we hope that you would visit
www.envisionleadership.com/agents for more information.
Thank you for your help in building a successful Agents of Change and
College Coaches team!
Best regards,
Kristin Moul
