The Cinderella fairy tale has countless tales from other cultures...just a
few: Rough-Face Girl (native American), Egyptian Cinderella, Korean
Cinderella, Yeh-Shen (Chinese), Mafuro's Beautiful Daaughters (African),
Tattercoats & Princess Furball (British), Vassilisa the Beautiful
(Russian), and Cinderella (French by Perrault...the one we're most familar
with) etc., etc. Maybe a public library children's librarian can lead you
in the right direction. I hope this is helpful.
