For Immediate Release, May 21, 2004

"People are tired of the images, ads and media messages that present girls
negatively and now they can do something about it," says John Ball,
program manager at Dads and Daughters (DADs), the national advocacy
nonprofit for fathers and daughters.

DADs seeks nominations for the year's best and worst ads as they relate to
girls.

Beginning today and running through Father's Day (June 20, 2004) DADs is
accepting nominations in three categories: television, magazine and
other(billboard, print, Internet, radio). When the American Advertising
Association convenes in New York City September 20-24, 2004, DADs will
announce its award recipients.

Dads and Daughters urges anyone who cares about girls to visit
http://www.dadsanddaughters.org/Awards.html and submit a nomination.

Dads and Daughters (www.dadsanddaughters.org) is the national advocacy
nonprofit for fathers and daughters. Dads and Daughters inspires fathers
