federal agencies have streamlined their ability to donate computers to 
nonprofits.  This includes from National Guard centers and Agricultural, 
Fish & Wildlife centers.

Also, if you know someone technical that works at a state university, 
smetimes they can provide older pcs on an extended nt-to-be-returned 
'loan,' e.g., through the university surplus.
