Hi Anna,
I too am Founder of an After School Program, in Gary, IN. However, the program is not flourishing the way yours appear to be. Funding, cooperation from city & school officials, are part of my problems. We chose to locate in an area where our services are needed, but the community is apathetic. Please check out our web site www.liveupart.org and if you have any suggestions on where we can find funding please advise.
Hope to hear from you.

Glad to help with specific questions if you want to call me, but seems
like too broad a subject for me to respond. Feel welcome to call at
(512) 826-3398 -- I started an afterschool program 4 years ago and we're
about to go statewide. I'll be glad to help.

Greetings Linda,
I just received this message off the YouthLearn list
serve. I, too, am interested in the responses you
receive about how to start an afterschool program. I
see a definite need for it in my area but I don't know
what type of experience/ funding there is available
for programs. Please keep me informed as you receive
responses.
Thanks Linda
Best of luck with your project.
